SIZE ADVICE
Professional Opinion of Dr. Mario Dumitrascu,
M.D.Vimax Group

MYTHS

Women have long said: "It's not the size, but the movement that matters" when trying to soothe feelings of men. Women have been a long time under the thumb of men who said that a man is lying next fruitful, despite the lack of a large volume of the penis. Women also say that discuss the size of the penis is meaningless, because the penis can not grow.
This point of view minimizes the importance of penis size. The vagina is an elastic structure and responds differently to different shapes and sizes. In addition, most studies show that the size of the penis in the total body is a fairly good indicator of female sexual selection in nature. Evolutionarily speaking, female Homo sapiens has always been the choice of sexual partners. The whole history of man Homo sapiens shows that men who were very well provided succeeded better.

RACIAL FACTORS IN PENIS SIZE

Despite the strengthening of each ethnic-based penis stereotype imaginable the map below really contains several surprises, as well as the most powerful country in the world seems to be the least strenghtful where it counts.

I use high blood pressure medication for the past year. The medication has made my erections not quite as firm as I like and can remember. Superlongnight72 Pills- wow. Made me hard again so good.. I forgot what that was like. I highly recommend this stuff i bought it from w….superlongnight…c. I know that in the past my husband and i have needed some help in this area...i was wondering if you can tell me where i may buy Vimax and/or if you can direct me to the list of ingredients online possibly...or even if you have site that shows Vimax reviews. 2 ProSolutionsPills my girl says that she love my size and she doesn't care and im 5 inches but i feel woman are lying when they say that i want at least 7 i bought 4 month suppply. works pretty good on my second week and notice a tad difference. I got a 6 month supply can't wait to see longer and serious im vietnamese. im already a 7 incher my goal is 12 hehe so 2 inch every 3 bottles. and notice my penis gets big faster after using a pump to. I believe vimax does work. if this really really does work ima get a year supply ehehe. Asian music how appropriate.. lol (joke) 2 ProSolutionsPills : 3 inch dildo's were never popular :). To the fellow below who is bashing all male enhancement pills in general. These products are not for everybody, they are only for dedicated people who will do what it takes to get results. And by do what it takes, I mean learn how to properly use the pills and how to properly manage your penis at the same time.. you know.. keeping the good ol boy excersized hint hint. I am an actual previous user of Vimax and did a study of my findings in a 6 month period, click my pic to see my story :]. ignor all comments pro or con on vimax try it out your self you never know if the pro guys work for vimax nor do you know if the anti vimax guys work for a different company. I have never tried this or any other pill for that matter but I'm going to try it when i get around to it.. Only negativ thing i can see whit vimax is that they sex you can have sex longer...for me that is negative I'm a 2 hour kinda guy :P. This guy is a joke Vimax works yeah right lol to be honest Im very pissed off with this f***in brand I bought the bottles 4 yrs ago and bought all 6 and didnt see no f***in results just writing this post and looking at this fool in this video gets me more mad for the people who actually or not satisfied with what they born with and to take advantage they dont care please guys dont be fooled I was once you at one point and I fell at the scam I called the company one time cause the bottles says. fall for it as for the people who post good comments on this product they probably work for the brand to trick people to buying it well I hope people could take my word im still unsatisfied with what I have and havent found anything but I relized pills r def not the solution dont be tricked guys im trying to help you guys out if you want to be a knuckle head and not believe me than go right ahead buy the product if that will make you feel happy but dont be surprised with the info i gave u.

I apreciate the work done here. This gives me the feeling not to lose hope on this great Nation despite all the all its stuggle to retain it place in the world..

why isnt the sound working pls we need hear this valuable information for this generation and the next its necessary that we need to learn the mistakes of the past for a better tomorrow. +talk2me9ja It mentions the names of all involved. My family wasn't there. We was sold into slavery by British and West Africans. You seem to have a thing for just the Igbo people and not the Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo individuals. Thats just it. It's the individuals who worked collectively to bring down the country. They was followed by many. Tell me why you feel so attacked on this one. Did you see the names of your family members doing the corruption Sounds like a guilty conscious. This video reveals how the foreign corporations use the Nigerian people against each other. Just like in every other African country who gained independence and then went into a conflict. Who supplied the weapons that would have Africans killing each other..
pls we solicit for the youtube copy write to restore back the sound of this documentary because it is very educative for the nigerians future youths. we hope our request shall be consider..

+JoStylin Know Thy History And spot the reason that started the tension between your ppl and the Hausas in this video The British & the early elitists of our country from all tribes.

+JoStylin And all the lies you spewed about the results of the Biafran war is forever falsified, becuase the military government promoted unity after the war, and the rebuilding of the biafran region. When ijukwu returned from exile, many Igbos were angered by his return, because he was a coward that knowingly led Biafrans into an unmatched war and ran away when all failed. Learn Thy HISTORY !!.
Please wake up, Boko Haram was set up, sponsored and encouraged by the west to destabilise nigeria bcos despite Jonathan being a thieving crook he didn't want to hand nigeria on a plate to the Americans and the British in relations to signing up to the European Partnership Agreement and allowing USA to set up a AFRICOM military base in Nigeria... it now remains to be seen if Buhari has sold out Nigeria to the foreigners/Colonisers circling our resources.. it doesn't just end their either they are doing putting up puppet regime all around africa so we can never operate with one voice or create an environment for us to industrialised our resources in order to become a super power.. it doesn't end their either they plan to poison africans so they become sterile in order for you children and children children to not be able to conceive. We are living in evil times and the quicker you stop worrying about hausa or igbo, christian or muslim and start thinking the whites are making plans to enslave you and your generation again the better it will be for us.. i have some some solutions on how we can repel them and fight fire with fire..However it is going to need all hands on deck. Sorry about the loss of sound I will restore later today with sound... in the meantime we have a serious issue of being recolonise by the europeans again via the EUROPEAN PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT & Having our NATURAL RESOURCES CONFISCATED/STOLEN BY USA via their AFRICOM agenda..
i have always wondered how an hausa man got knighted!!!...what an irony.. hausa were the puppets of the british government. Ibo people and their goody two shoes. Awolowo was a socialist,pan-africanist: never gonna happen like making Malcom x the president... he got a fair deal i guess. unlike lumuba. Biafra was inevitable.

if your theory is to be believed, BH has not endorsed any tribe yet but pple do associate them with the hausas. i doubt they are fighting to rule the country, if so then they are going about it the very wrong way.present Nigeria is a country in a state of semi anachy, different sort of ideology and influence prevail with no social structure to guide against it or absorb it. BH is only making headlines bcos it bothers the international community. if BH bothers you then you aint seen nothing yet..
They haven't endorsed any tribe but some key elders from the north have accepted them as one of theirs. Notwithstanding, I do agree with what you said. It affects us and bothers the international community..

I think I heard something about the Rana Plaza when it happened in the news. I don't know if it was ignorance or indifference, but it didn't make me think at all. I probably though it wasn't my fault that the owners of the buildings didn't pay enough attention to the security. But I just watched this documentary and it has changed my life. I can't believe we are supporting this slavery system and encouraging big fashion retailers by buying their clothes. I'll make sure to encourage everyone I know to watch it as we are all involved in this, and we can make a change.. This is exactly what I mean when I say that I live and breathe for fashion... I wouldn't do what I do if there wasn't room to make a true difference and create positive cultural change in the world, one tiny babystep at a time. I love the self-expressiveness and Art of Fashion, mostly because I love my fellow human beings and the rainbow of light we make together. There has to be a better way to create art and take care of our people. I'm learning every day I'm so thankful for people who take time to teach us all how to be better. In love and solidarity, Amanda Caserta Executive Producer.
a mast see documentary, we should educate themselves! I cried almost the whole documentary and I'm embarrassed of myself and my ignorance. I'm spreading that video around and I'll think twice before I buy...thank you for opening my eyes....

Hard to watch but so very very important. My radio show producer will be in touch re: the possibility of scheduling Andrew as a show guest for our national radio show. Thanks to Scott Leonard and Matt Reynodls from Indigenous for telling me about this film and about Andrew's work..
No haters reply as this is a real proper question - Isn't the whole issue more a government issue rather then the consumer Because even if we stopped buying clothing from these countries with their horrid work environments all we would be doing is putting these people out of a job and most likely straight into poverty. So wouldn't it be better if we only threatened to stop buying their cheaply made clothing until proper work environment are set in place by a government standard. +Abdul Kader, you're completely right. A fair majority of our friends and colleagues will never change the way they view an h&m shirt, but this movie opened up my eyes and I am sure you have been thinking about this issue and been questioning the morals of certain companies. However, I think it's our responsibility to raise awareness of the effects of our materialistic ideology, since we only get more depressed by seeking happiness within the greater consumption of clothing and sport cars. We can protest, look for some kind of enlightenment, because our governments won't change anything if we support absolutely everything they do..
+boy in the box +abdul kader I absolutely agree with what you said, "It's our responsibility to raise awareness of the effects of our materialistic ideology, since we only get more depressed by seeking happiness within the greater consumption..." I've been in the fashion industry for decades. I started my own clothing line to support myself traveling the music festival circuit when I was practically a baby. That passion transpired into a career as the lead designer and consultant for several multi-national brands. I traveled the world, I was respected, I was paid well for my work. Once I had "arrived" as a designer I learned about the atrocities that exist inside the industry. I tried to make my impact by creating a transformation from the inside the beast. It nearly wrecked me. The beginning of 2015 marked the end of my work as a designer and consultant for brands. I took a huge leap into creating something that resonated more powerfully with my way of believing. My decision was to stop FIGHTING the industry beast and to begin CREATING a more positive outlook on ourselves as a human race. My mission is simple, peaceful, gentle and heartfelt. I teach people to transform the way they think and feel about themselves, their bodies, their emotions, and their personal image. I show them how to step into their most powerful way of BEING in the world so that it doesn't matter anymore whether they are wearing clothes from 4 seasons ago, driving a cheap car, carrying around unwanted beer-gut or muffin-top that won't go away, or haven't had a date in 6 months. If people learn that it's not about their clothes, their car, their "stuff" or the shape of their body, then WE as a society have risen to new heights and can be part of the change that we wish to see in the world..

This is an amazing documentary! Thank you for doing this... for showing us the true cost of our acts..

im happy now last 2 dresses i bought was made in my country Poland not bangladesh made by 12 old girl.
Just watched it in NetFlix, it's an eye opener documentary on clothing industry! It portrays how ignorant we as consumers jeopardizing the lives of other living beings and ruining the mother earth for our materialistic pleasures. I feel lot of people are not aware of all these issues and with proper awareness, I am optimistic that we can become more responsible. I will surely think twice when I shop next time! Many thanks for bringing this to light!! #TheTrueCost #TrueCostMovie.
Good to raise awareness! However, because people are being crushed, burning and dying to create the clothes we wear, isn't that even more of a reason to by from them and care for the garment, because we care about who made it Mom went to Walmart (uh-oh) and came home with a 'Faded-Glory' sweater (of all things) as a gift for me over five years ago. Did I say: "I could never wear such a thing" Nope. I'm wearing it right now, because I've cared for it so well this whole time. I'll never throw it away either because I do care who made it and where it came from..

Can't wait for the film. Great job. Thank you. This is an intricate part of why we exist, CATA Consumers Against Toxic Apparel. We are creating awareness, educating and inspiring consumers to change the way the view fashion by being the resource to find, shop and save on organic clothing nationwide. Our affiliates do business with consciousness, exercise mindfulness over profits, offer transparency and traceability of the products they sell. See more: http://cataorganic.com/.

I just watched it and I'm so heartbroken and even though I've been aware of these issues for a while...the film has really empowered me. It was so incredibly informative..

I used to work for an anti-human trafficking organization and it was so heartbreaking to know of the conditions people lived/worked in. It's so true that we can make a positive change in the world. The majority of my clothes are thrifted, and eventually I'd love to have all ethically made clothing/shoes. A lot of the items I have are from before I became vegan. I'll definitely be checking out the documentary! :). +Samantha Lindsey Wow... that is amazing that you worked there. It's so good to know that there are people out there making a positive difference in the World..
So glad I saw this video. I've heard about it, but now I totally understand. I get all my cloths second hand from my friend. .
LOVE this video!! You live near Vancouver right There are actually some pretty great ethical fashion options there, check out Twigg & Hottie and Devil May Wear on Main street, Nicole Bridger in Kits, Nice Shoes is a vegan shoe store on Fraser, Dream in Gastown, Shop Cocoon on Cambie carries a few locally made brands, Body Politic is based in Vancouver but I think they only sell online, Eileen Fisher is an awesome US ethical brand and they have a store in South Granville, and there's also Eco Fashion Week twice a year which is a great event to check out. Hope that's helpful! Let me know if you'd like more recs, I used to live in Vancouver :).
+My Green Closet Thank you :) Thanks for all the awesome recommendations - I will definitely check these out. x.

OMG, I have seen that documentary few weeks ago and I definitely wanted/want to make a video on it as well! Yeah, I wasn't aware it was that horrible how factory workers were treated! And, the footage of leather shoes production and how it's contaminating the water supply in India and people are developing medical conditions and children being born with birth defects was so horrendous! The point is that these major corporations take no responsibility for the environment or factory workers because they aren't their employees! And, these retailers want to produce clothes at the lowest cost as possible and in turn the factory owners and the government just want the business without caring for factory workers or the environment. But consumers in the West have so much power to say no to cheap fashion and make these corporations take responsibility for their actions..

Melissa, I'm transitioning into a minimalist and you're videos are so inspiring! Thank you for all your guides, advice and all you do, you really make this journey realistically for me ^_^..

This is all SO true. Thank you for bringing up the topic of ethical fashion! It's something that needs to seriously be addressed. I've posted an ethical fashion haul video on my channel a couple of weeks ago if you want to check it out! But my favourite Canadian vegan brand is Matt and Nat :).

+Maple Leaf Vegan Thank you. Just checked out your channel & subscribed.. Keep up the awesome content hun. xx.

Thank you so much for making this video! I have recently started to become more aware of trying to make more ethical and sustainable fashion decisions! I will definitely look into this documentary!.
Agree, it's horrible. Always when I'm on the train I see young girls with bags from Primark stuffed with clothes. Who needs that stuff and so much of it It's not even good quality so you can't wear it for long. Ok, when I was younger I was like this but not any more. Atm I don't buy any clothes as I literally have no money but I'll rather buy one fair organic piece every few months than 10 pieces every month..
I just saw this documentary, it really should be essential viewing for everyone. I have been looking more and more into the slow fashion movement and it makes so much sense. I was in tears pretty much through the whole film, so many scenes of devastation. It is heartbreaking and so horrifically unfair, we have to remember that the only thing separating us from those people is the countries we happened to be born into. I refuse to contribute to this any longer and I feel that this goes hand in hand with veganism too. Thank you for this wonderful video, how could 8 people have downvoted it!.
Only way to avoid it and help those ppl are to buy fair trade from those areas. Buying local puts those ppl out of a job. They wont quit their jobs no matter the condition bc they only have that job. If u stop buying, u put them out of work. Yes, they need better conditions, but buying local doesnt help them. U may not find local made things that are large companies, but there are a ton of small ones. Etsy, malodia designs, just look up handmade and the style or type you like. Quite expensive and hard to return and not piss off the person if u dont like it. Anyways, sign petitions to large companies. Insist that their 1% they sent to donations goes to make conditions better at their company. I'd feel worse putting them out of a job. . First things first: thank you for making this video and bringing attention to such an important topic :) But there is something I always wonder about: how come people (in general) aren't aware that a shirt they buy for 5 bucks cannot have been made fairly I think it is rather obvious, and I don't know if people willingly choose to ignore it or if they just don't think that far... or if they don't care.. Check the blog thegoodtrade.com, they always post entries about fair trade and ethically sourced products and companies.. I just finished watching a video on when the best time to shop for out of season whatever was. I didn't know what the nature of the video was until I started watching. The vlogger had a sea of cheap junk on a table (to clutter her home) from her "haul" and this person kept bragging about how she got all this stuff that used to cost X and she got it for much less than X All of it said Made in China, Made in India. I couldn't even finish the video. A lot of people just don't know any better and this particular vlogger has a lot of views. Too many YouTube vloggers who often have more subscribers and views than celebrities unknowingly perpetuate this cycle. Last, Threads for Thought, earth creations, Everlane, NeedSupply, Madewell and American Apparel sells either sustainable, organic, recycled, sweat shop free clothing. Melissa is right. It's hard to find sustainable responsible clothes but they're out there. Forewarning, there's sticker shop for some of these items because to grow things organically, to pay workers a fair wage, etc. it's simply more costly. BUT since most minimalists don't own a lot anyway and advocate shopping for quality, I think the prices are worth it. Threads for Thought and earth creations are very affordable. For those on a tighter budget, there's always Ebay, Craigslist, and consignment shops. There's also Etsy where you can shop handmade, recycled and organic at different price points. It's great to buy used but if you can afford it, the responsible vendors need our support so that people do have choices. Also, from my experience having kids of different ages, I can't always find everything thrifted. Pants and shorts, depending on the season, sell out very quickly in my area. Lots of people thrift here. I can't wait to check this documentary out! Don't apologize for passion for a great cause, Melissa. I enjoyed this video - very informative..
I've juste seen the trailer and I was already wanting to cry my eyes out. I've been vaguely aware of this issue but because I don't buy that many clothes I did not feel, I don't know, that much concerned. However it's one of my goal for 2015 and on to buy ethically made clothes or second hand. Thank you for your video, I hope it will make more people aware of this terrible issue..
It's a sad fact that a lot of people don't understand the true cost of cheap. All they can see is that they can only afford to shop in places like Walmart. But we will never be able to afford anything better if we continue to do that. I mainly shop at thrift stores. In my current financial state my mantra is "good, better, best." Good for me is buying the monetarily cheapest items in the big box stores because when I have a need I can't get at a thrift shop I'm at least going to do my best to give those stores the least amount of money I can. Better is shopping second hand, making over old clothes and feeling good when a thrift shop I buy from supports a worthy cause. Best would be natural, organic fibers, from small, family owned and operated businesses that ethically source their materials. Best would be to see the day when big box stores are a thing of the past. Currently I'm unemployed but that is my dream, my goal..
I watched the True Cost when it came out and although I have read up on the subject (Overdressed: The Shockingly High Cost Of Cheap Fashion and To Die For: I Fashion Wearing Out The World The author is also part of The True Cost) it was kind of nice to see all the information in video form as whenever I get tempted by highstreet brands I can just watch the film and be reminded of what's at stake. You might wish to look up My Green Closet here on YT she has an amazing ethic when it comes to clothes as well as other aspects of her life. She is also originally from Canada (I believe) so she might know some brands in your area. One of my fav ethical brands although I don't think they are 100% vegan is People Tree. Best wishes with this new step in your jorney..

another great brand for folks looking for alternatives - decentexposures.com. They make comfortable cotton clothing (lots made from organic cotton) and custom sized/fitted bras for ladies. Made in the USA (Seattle) and great quality and customer service..
I first had my attention brought to this by My Green Closet and Inspiroue and nearly everyday getting dressed I think about it still. I was going to recommend that you ask My Green Closet for tips and advice, but it seems that she already commented. Keep posting to remind us about this topic so we can't ignore it.. wow! I flicked The True Cost on right after I watched this video. I knew it was bad, but not this bad. I makes me want to never want to buy cheap clothing again just because it's cheap. I've been slowly working on the minimalism thing and I'm loving it! You are super inspiring, please continue to make videos. I watch them while I go through my stuff haha. Hi, I just rented the true cost documentary from Amazon, and oh my goodness. I had no idea it was that bad for the people and the environment. Thank you so much for sharing this information that has truly opened my eyes. . Hey Melissa :) I totally agree on your opinion and I myself have really drastically cut down my shopping in general. I think it is so excessive to buy so many new items like it is no big deal. My grandmother is 79 and she told me that when she was young she got one new dress, that her mom handmade per year! Crazy how times have changed, and I think they have not changed for the better. I shop a lot second hand now because the items are already purchased but the company does not make additional money off of me. It is so sad that there is almost no fashionable fair trade clothing, but I´ve seen that topshop has some items on their site that are made in britain. Also I am from germany, we have a company called trigema that makes everything in germany. even the cloth for the garments. I don't know if they ship to canada but I just wanted to let you know about them :). Amazing vid! I haven't seen this documentary, but I'm definitely going to check it out. Being a minimalist, I have been apart of that 'throw away' society where I will buy a cheap shirt and wear it a few weeks before donating... shamefully, I feel now. I really admire and love your vision for living a life that is not harming other people or the planet. I have recently become very aware of the makeup and skin care industry and refuse to buy from brands that harm animals in anyway. However, I hadn't given much thought to my clothing that I wear and the people who make it! I have recently purchased from everlane.com. It's an amazing company that really cares about every step and process of the clothing they produce (and it's more affordable for those of us who normally depend upon those $5 shirts :/). And their products are beautiful and have worn well. Great input and review once again Melissa :) watching your vids inspire me that others out there have the same desire of compassion and care towards others..
It makes me cross when people throw away perfectly serviceable items. I always take unwanted clothes to charity shops, I think we are trained to do that in the UK. I used to work as a fashions merchandiser so I'm pretty into fashion as well. Sadly, ethical clothing isn't the easiest (or cheapest) thing to buy in my experience. Right now I just abstain from buying from fast fashion brands. As for buying ethically: clothing brands that manufacture in your own country would probably be a good start..
Wow, just wow! I need to see this documentary and I hope it will get as big of an exposure as Earthings or similar. . Well said! I agree. Thanks for sharing. I'll watch the documentary. All of this is pushing me more and more towards a minimalistic lifestyle..
I have to watch this movie. After reading the Pope's latest encyclical: Laudato Si, I went to the mall this weekend and I felt too guilty to be able to make a purchase. Every time I picked up a garment at Old Navy, Gap, and Macy's I would think about what the Pope said and the poor people who had to sacrifice so much to make a cheap garment so I can pay $10, I just couldn't do it. I walked out empty handed. .
Melissa, thank you so very much for sharing this! I will watch it this weekend - cannot wait. So heartbreaking.... Thanks for such an informative videos! can you tell us what detergent do you use or the eco friendly way to do laundry.
This topic is so important! I think you are right, we really need to watch out what we are buying. I always ask myself: When I and a lot of other people stop bying these clothes, will this women still get payed or will she loose her job because the company will close And were will she end up I know we have to start somewere and it is a vicious circle between buying these clothes because she is getting payed or not buy this clothes so the company will close. I really hope that the people in this countries will someday get the same aducation and payment as we do, so nobody has to breath in chemicals and we all can buy organic clothes. I think it is the right first step to stop buying clothes made in countries who have this conditions and I hope they change something..
I just got done watching it! Very inspiring to take a step towards changing things. I traveled to Phnom Penh last month and I drove past the garment workers. I kept asking my driver questions about them. It was so sad how they didn't have other work alternative so they slaved away working 13 hour days 7 days a week just to make a living wage that helped them send money to their families in the villages. It's sad that the US doesn't make much clothing in the vegan aspect, I had a friend that use to make his own clothing, an had to special order the material. Other than that he had absolutely no way to find any. That was back in the start of 2000's. The reason why factory's for clothing an a lot of other items moved overseas is because it was so cheap. US workers demand more pay, insurance, an safty. Most company's won't pay it, an the fact that the US has strict rules an regulations for protecting workers more so than other countries.. This is so true. I try to buy as much as i can fairtrade food and so. I wear a lot of second hand clothing. But now and then i buy something from a normal "store" without thinking were it is from. But i avoid shops like h&m and similar shops. But even expensive clothes is not save. This video motivates me to look more after "cruelty free" clothes. The colors of the clothing are often toxic so the people who color it get cancer and tumors. So sad, it makes me sick. :( But the same things happen where they harvest coffee beans or cocoa beans. The situation of many plantations is cruel. .
American Apparel is of course made in America and has a great minimalistic style, search made in America on Nordstrom brings up many items. If I had endless pockets I would single handedly buy up everything from Free People. As for cosmetics and such I support Urban Decay, Lush and The Body Shop they are pretty good brands as well.
Thanks so much for the docu recommendation. I watched it. Very thankful for this knowledge. Everyone should watch it..
I live more of a minimalist lifestyle, yet I fully admit that I love watching haul videos, make up collections, and beauty gurus who's parents give them money to go shopping and I can't even figure out why I like to watch things like that when I don't live like that! I love going through my clothes and every day items to downsize and I live in a small apartment with minimal and simple decor but I don't understand why I enjoy the annoying gurus who buy too much hahaha maybe entertainment .
+Caprices, des lectures et des tas d'autres choses Yes, I also LOVE the library and having a good new stack of books to read :). Hey Melissa! I'm in the US, so I'm not sure how many of these stores will work for you, but check out Everlane, PACT, Fair Indigo, Cuyana, and People Tree. Also, the Note Passer has a great website with tons of information on ethical brands. Of course, buying second hand is even better, but sometimes I just can't find what I'm looking for in thrift stores. I hope this helps, and please keep us posted on your journey!.
I have heard that Cuyana and Everlane do ethical clothing line. They are extremely high quality and simple clothing. Take a look at their website to find out if I am righ or wrong though, I am not 100% sure eheh :) nice video!.

I love u melissa ! thank u so much for this video. it means a lot for me. i dont know. i just remembered what malcolm x said "u show me capitalist. i'll show u a bloodsucker". and its fact..

Just watched the documentary, it was heart breaking. So glad you're spreading awareness about this Melissa! The fashion and textile industry is literally KILLING people and it seems like everyone in the production chain is pointing the blame at someone else. We should take responsibility and stop this ludicrous shopping, consuming and "hauling" frenzy that is destroying human lives, animal lives and the planet..

+Kristen Leotsakou I completely agree. I think with more and more people becoming aware of this, we will all come together and make some much-needed changes..

Keep making these great videos! I stumbled upon your channel a few months ago and I am glad I subscribed bc I love everyone of your videos :).
I teared up a little watching this, so I know seeing the movie will have me crying out of control. It is crazy the things we don't even question. We just do things without even questioning anything at all. It really makes you want to reevaluate everything in your life. On that note, I may have to buy a sewing machine and get to making some clothing as well. Love your videos girl, keep it up. xoxo. Great idea just be aware of what fabric you are buying as this still can be harmful to the environment and peoples health if it's not organic cotton..
What you said really resonated with me.. Going Vegan made me so much more compassionate and really changed my view of the world. I will be sure to check out this documentary. Thanks for sharing :).

I have been watching your videos for a while now and you have changed my life! Ever since I came across your videos on youtube I have cut back so much on things I buy and am becoming a minimalist. I also have done a lot of research on being vegan and saw all of the benefits and have become a vegan myself! Not only do I feel like I am helping to make this world a better place, save precious animals, and feel good about how I spend my money but my health has also improved. I used to have many stomach/digestive issues and would break out and now my life is completely changing for the better and these issues are going away. And I have more energy! Thank you so much for being brave and sticking to what you believe in :) You are a wonderful person and you ARE making a change! .
+Kaley Wisner Thank you so make, Kaley! I'm so glad that you are enjoying the videos and are making awesome, positive changes in your life. Best of luck with everything. xx.
My favorite brand is Eileen Fisher. A lot of her clothes are made from organic cotton and linen. I love the philosophy behind the clothes ie certified dying, made in the U.S. and the company's commitment to becoming sustainable by 2020. Also the company wants the clothes back to recycle them. Yes they are more expensive, but if you have a few staple pieces that you love and they last - it's worth it. Great video Melissa! You should check out Mygreencloset on YouTube- she also does a lot with minimalism and eco friendly fashion..

99% of people can't do what bodybuilders do even if they do take steroids. Don't oversimplify steroids as "you take em and get huge". You still need to train hard, eat right, and endure the immense pain and side effects from steroids. These people are willing to go through that to achieve their goals. These guys do everything natties do plus go through the difficulty of dealing with roids. Respect that. There is a difference between natties and steroid users. Unless they're fake natties, all bodybuilders deserve respect..

I dont think people understand that rich is not only being honest to us, but putting himself in danger by giving away info about steroids.
I actually admire this person for being so honest, the whole steroid and getting big as shit is not so bad when people are honest. What peevs people off is when people are obvious on drugs and keep claiming they just use creatine and protein shakes..
+Scott V The honesty is great. But another part of it is that these guys who were pro builders and go through this rigorous cycle and process really have to work harder on their muscles to get the size they want and maintain it. You don't just take it and all of a sudden you get big. You have to go balls to the walls and know how much work you put in on a weekly basis to keep up with the growth, as well with keeping the potential and aesthetics in mind. Some people will do the gear but look like a bloated blow up doll than others who look closer like a chiseled greek statue.. this guy seems like the biggest douche in the world, but mad props for his honesty, and sharing his knowledge of steroids.. This is for the top level. What about if ur a bigger on PEDS or steroids how much are you looking at cost wise!. 2k a month wow you are getting ripped off. a vial of test from ukss is like 45 usd and 100iu of HGH Is about 250usd. the perks of buying from the uk! maybe you should send them an email uksource22 gmail.com.
Rich will drop dead early with all the roid use, it will be on youtube "just another body building tragedy" due to steroid abuse..
Where do u find the money to be able buy all those drugs I mean... USA ppl are really rich. He's talking about an avarege of 4000$ per month. There, in USA, is few a salary of 4000$/month.
+Agaliareth B.my friends told me that too..USA people are really rich. They have the money to live a better life.
then why is the us debt 17 trillion dollars china is basically our sugar daddy. i live in the us people just buy shit with credit cards and loans yes we have alot of stuff but we buy it with imaginary money basically.. I really like how Rich doesn't try to hide his steroid use and how he talks about it publicly. I also like that he promotes being natural. He is a very unselfish person and I like that..
I appreate you rich for always telling it how it is.. Your the man and keep up the good vids.. Im natural and I do have to say you have to bust your ass in the gym harder to get gains but it's worth it to be natural and to have your health..
You've made my day mate, this was the most open talk about steroids not detailed but open and how you went about it and why and your experience so far... I'm yet to see a video where someone can speak so truthfully. Glad your healthy.. But your mind ain't.. I did stuff and my mind was messed up.. Over time I can't imagine the shit you do...
The true price of steroids True price is you lose your health on the way.. There's nothing healthy about taking tons of hormones. But oh well there's not a single healthy sport on elite level...
+Mario health is relative, a man who is smaller and hates his image is he healthy psychologically a man who is fat and hates his entire life because he hates how he looks is he healthy the well being of the mind and the body are not always on the same level...despite what most people say smokers have a bit more relaxed and stress venting outlet than super healthy people. human life span is 70-80 yrs old, does it really matter to cut or add 5 yrs to it and live most of it miserable .
has anyone ever seen this dude in the gym training or is it all down to his polymethyl-methacrylate injections.
youuuuu dude, just live that fucking life and change it, try to study something better or just try only manage your enterprises, you are getting old broth, try another life.. It's $2k from the pharm, the guys who sell it are the ones who buy it from the pharm, yet they only sell it at $600 This does not make sense..
+gypsykingg Yeah even if insurance makes it free, they are HIV posiive, so they get the money but they can die pretty soon without GH. So what would they do they get another fake prescription and keep selling GH. Men, that shit makes me think they are all crazy in this fucking world....
At least he admitted of taking steroids. Not kali muscle saying he natural top ramen and tuna bullshit. all you haters shut the fuck up. rich piano (kidding I know his name) is an honest man. I'd rather be an honest man that has taken a short cut and admits it than a lying ass bitch sad kunt. suck it haters. rich 8 hour arm workout piano is a boss.. Thanks for your honest info Rich...amazing info!! I can't even get test cyp. legally here in CO. JC. I agree it's the most retarded thing iv ever heard. the reason why guys get erected and horny is because of all the test but when you inject steroids such as cypionate and Ethanate at large doses your puting way more test in your body then you would have naturally which would cause you to be more horney and actually have better and bigger erections. people get prescribed cypionate because they have low test and can't get hard! for those out there who think steroids make your dick small go ask a juiceheads girlfriend what she thinks and I promise you she won't say that.
this country seriously needs to drop the BS of any type of drugs. If they just legalize it all, then people can be taught to properly use and how not to use. the war on drugs is a huge failure and a major waste of time, money, and lives. If you take it off the streets and back to the pharmacy then you make is safer right then and there. also, doing so would mean that people are getting what they are paying for and not some stepped on mess. there will always be those who abuse, alcohol is legal and it is abused and no one would say banning alcohol is a good idea. To say no to an idea like freedom of drugs is to say people are simply too dumb to figure it out. people are not given credit for what they know and their ability to learn. teach them responsibility and they will learn responsibility..
Rich whatever you tell us its true, in your s view. But in latest 20 years you pay the Price. And this was is really Hard.. That's really fucking expensive, holy shit. I thought this video would be about side effects of long term steroid use, not literally the price of the stuff, but enlightening none the less.. Sadly he is right about the pharmacy vs the black market. Pharmacy 10 wk supply of test cypionate = $168 - Black Market = $100. Fuck big pharma. Wow i appriciate rich for keeping it real, im sure he answered a lot of questions other bodybuilders neglect to touch basis on.. Probably the best looking 49 year old around. How old is Arnold Older than a lot of beer drinkers and smokers... Which is worse. I have criticised you Rich for alot of your views. But I cannot dispute your honesty which I respect..
So you and the rest of the game were basically buying growth hormone from patients who needed, just so that you could show off in a bodybuilding competition Nice..
+ArtificialPenguins why would that be bad If those people are selling them, why shouldn't you buy it (if you want to) . iam 25 year old bodybuilder and i been in and out of gyms since 18 so i know how to train beeen really serious about bodybuilding for 2 consistent years know i wanna do a mild steroid oral cycle when i hit 30 but i believ e that u have to have a solid foundation like many many years as a natural before u enhance. I'm liking your videos more & more, very truthful. Thought you were gonna be just another internet liar. I was wrong. You're actually a good guy and worth listening to. Thanks for your videos. . I get mine from turkey. I pay 90 dollars for test 400 mg. Deca 400, trenbelone 200 is 115 bottle. Growth is 400 for a kit. A 50 pills 100 for 100 pills. Hit me up and I got u nigga .
What's up Rick- I've been pretty healthy my entire life. I'm 43, 220 Lbs(could stand to loose 20 lbs). I don't count the calories, fat, carbs, etc I eat. I do however eat leaner proteins(chicken mainly) Limit my bad carb intake(pasta/bread) and usually don't eat fast foods( 1 or 2 times a month). Been working out on and off my entire life, but recently been on a good schedule for 4 years. Usually in the gym 3 – 4 times a week, 2 hour workouts, which are very intense. I've always had a hard time gaining strength and size, genetics I guess. Been recently doing a lot of research on steroids. I would do it legally, through testosterone therapy and would probably be taking 200mg-250mg a week. I'm not looking to get huge, that ship has sailed, but I just want to get to the point where my exterior looks like the effort that I've put in at the gym. My question to you is, Do you feel someone could do steroids for a couple of months without causing permanent damage From the research that I've done, I feel steroids are safe for a mature adult who takes them in moderation under a doctors supervision. I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot from them. Thanks man....

I've been offered shit been going to the gym since 16 so ten years it gets hard to say no sometimes watching my buddy gain fucking 20 pound in weeks and here I am still scrawny as fuck Ha-ha but I don't have the heart for it man sucks!.
If you wanted to get aesthetics like Zyzz had, would you have to take steroids How long would it take I'm new to this, and I'm tired of being that kid people ignore, and I wanna be sexy, and big..

    Comments about this video:
Sammi talked about this documentary, being a fashion major im about to educate myself more about this... :). Umm I have a question... how do we shop ethically if both expensive and cheap stuff (Nike former and H&M latter) are manufactured at low cost in developing countries I've been trying to change my shopping habits but I can't get around this problem :( I know about the secondhand thing but there really aren't much secondhand markets in Singapore T.T It's either on the west brands or china brands. +chickefloss Depends on what answer you want. Do you want to help ensure that workers and the environment are never treated like the way presented in this film, or do you want to feel better about yourself and your place in a system that damages workers and the environment If your aim is the latter do everything the other commenters have suggested, if your aim is the former then educate yourself as to why we have an economic system that is unable to produce "things" without also marginalizing workers and destroying the planet we live on. The answers are out there if you ask the right questions.. I never would have thought so many people would suffer just so I could wear cute clothes to school. And they only earn $2!So many people just want more and more while these people have nothing!Im only 12 and some kids my age do this at my age and get sick or might lose a limb for 2$!Its so unfair and cruel and yet they only care about the people who wear it.Now that I watched this I feel way different when I see new clothes In a store.Who knows how much they struggled To make that so I could wear it when they need it most! They deserve so much more! They should have what we Americans have;A nice house, clothes, education, and a job that pays WAY more than 2$.Companys should treat manufactures better and make the pay higher.
Hate to break it to you, but i come from one of these third world countries and life was much worse before globalization. Do people in the west who make these documentaries know what life was 50 years ago in Bangladesh, India, or Pakistan no, they have no clue how much worse it was compare to now..

+Louise Landry I believe there will be no proper change until there is a proper system failure, the massive middle class of the west has to have it worse and get angry. Once that happens hopefully we are smart enough to see that its not the people's/top1%/illuminati/bildenburg/politicians/orwhatnots fault but rather an overall faulty system which people have adapted to. This realisation or waking up if you will is the first step towards global system reformation..
+WiseSloth ForBernieSanders but its still not good enough! here are many websites with lists and rankings and they are often not much more expensive but the workers profit much more! If everyone changes its behaviour and buys from companies who don't exploit their workers, then the industry will be forced to change their style of treating workers in order to gain customers. I have to admit I bought a lot of stuff from bad companies for little money too but hey it's never too late to begin! Let's fuck up those inhumane companies and start buying with our brains activated!. Sorry but the this phenomenon is not exclusive to fashion and is a larger problem within the confines of modern capitalism..
+TheRodco yeah, like I came from one of developing countries and I know that there are more industry that were capitalized unfairly to the workers and homecountry.. like in papua they have that magnificent huge mountain of gold and the one that exploited is american company and I can say that it is really unfair because the company can enjoy 99% of the result while my country just got 1% of it.. and the one that make it worsen is in indonesia especially papua there are still severely poverty and uneducated people...
Bless the activists! If it weren't for them no one would be taking blame. However, whenever I see these documentaries, I feel there is always one link missing from the chain - the business owners of these countries. The on the west clients have been made to feel responsible by these activists, but the local businesses and the local population at large have a very defensive idea. After the building fell killing so many one such business rep came to a local talk show and said, we shouldn't call them 'owners' because really, Allah (God) owns everything - sort of taking cover under the belief that death comes to us when god wills it, it isn't insured. The population at large (you'll find instances of them among these comments) also defend them because they employ people - making not providing a safe workplace or humanly wages acceptable. Within your trailer there wasn't one display of the house or car of such a business owner. If you raised prices in the west, the next step should be to ensure that some of it goes where it was intended, instead of financing the latest Mercedes sedan. I do know there has to be a profit incentive for these people, but I do believe they can do better if they wanted.. +WaitingMove oh, because the way that you change society is actually to break away from it completely and live in a commune in the woods. Of course people who might want to see change in the current world, have to first live in it and cooperate with it to some extent.. Eco-friendly brands aside for a moment people. Is this not a governments issue Either way the consumer and worker is screwed without proper governmental intervention. If we stop buying their cheap goods, millions of people will be without work and thrown back into poverty and if we do buy their goods they are employed but in a rubbish enviroment. Clearly at some stage the consumers need to pull a prank on the government i.e. refusing to buy this clothing until work environments are improved etc. I just don't think the solution is as simple as "buy eco-friendly" to save the poor people from their horrid working environments while at the same time basically throwing them on the streets..
The song lyrics are chilling "I want it all and I'll use you to get it". Devastating! I read a previous comment that said this is just the growing pains of developing countries. That may be true but that doesn't mean it's right. People in the developed world should know that these things are happening so they don't unknowingly support these abuses..
The corporations and countries need to be held accountable for these gross injustices. Why the fuck isn't the UN or some international tribunal or lawyers stepping in and really fighting for this Like enough already!! But of course they'll keep getting away with this as long as we keep voting for this system to remain the same. Not with our elections, but voting with our money... When you purchase something, you're essentially voting..
This hit me so hard. I cried balling out my eyes actually. Some people just don't understand the real cost. Lives lost. People killed. And its all covered up because if theres word about it the companies will lose customers. Does it really have to be this way WE can do so much better but, nobody likes to stand with the 5 people to make a change. What a terrible world this has turned into. Where did we go wrong God bless us all please. We need it..

This movie is very much needed in the fashion community today, especially the fast fashion market, the majority of these workers labor for those brands within that price point. However, change is easier said than done and as an individual who has been working his way up the fashion ladder, most of those working in the other side (brands, publicists, stylists, editors, etc) our main concern is to reach the consumer. We can blame the brands and governments all we want but it is Indeed the consumer demand and the factories themselves (those not vertically integrated into a particular brand or owned by the company itself) that are the driving forces behind these horrible conditions and results. It comes down to cost really, even human labor is grouped into this cost most brands pay to these factories. But the solution is not so easy... Brands and the factories both have what is known in the business world as "overhead" costs which is everything it takes to keep the factory running to turn these raw materials into wearable items. If such costs were raised to accommodate appropriate and fair labor conditions the entire fast fashion market would tank...Indeed the whole system as it stands now would tank because everything would have to get marked up even more so. Then the consumer (including ALL of us) would complain about cost of clothing. That cheap Walmart graphic tee for $5 would be $50. Thereby forcing all the other price points to increase to reflect the higher value proposition. The entire retail system is based on marking items up after wholesale. That's why most companies don't manufacture in America because the cost is too great for them...we have labor laws to protect workers' rights but the manufacturing in the US has been dying mostly from these overhead costs of employee wages and benefits. It's a long and arduous journey we all face to fix this but it certainly won't happen overnight. I am, however, glad and hopeful that this will spurn the beginning of change in business models, consumer education and more importantly consumer demand to hold the companies they purchase from to be socially responsible for who they do business with to get these products out to us. .
+K. Smith Thanks for the education. I believe there are people like you who have a conscience about the industry, but exposing the price we pay in human sacrifice may open people's eyes. I'd rather pay more and have fewer clothes, knowing that the persons making them were getting a better quality of life. However, I resent paying more, so the designer and manufacturer can have homes all over the world. Excesses in wealth are becoming nauseating.. I learn one thing, when i try told this to other people. "I DO NOT CARE". And one more thing. If that people who create this products in Bangladesh and other countries live soo bad and poor live WHY they do children Why they stop doing children I am not so poor as they, but i know that, I haven't enough money to provide for their offspring well. And then because i know, and because i want the best for my children i do not want children..
I don't understand why objects (cellphone, clothes, diamand, gold, ect..) are loved and people are used... It shouldn't be like this..
I am 19 and am afraid. Afraid as what kind of 'hell' I am going to leave for my yet to come generations in the name of 'planet Earth' I am really clueless. Any answer please.
This film is EXCELLENT!!! I just finished it on Netflix. It's WAY better than the trailer, although I'm sure they jam the trailer full of the glitzy fashionable images to actually get people to give a shit about watching it in the first place. It's so good and I recommend it to anyone interested in the topic even vaguely or who's simply interested in learning about a part of the world often covered up. It certainly opened my eyes to a lot..
I just watch it today. It's a heartbreaking 💔 people have no idea how difficult is it for them to produce clothes, they just buy it and wear it !. For people that have seen it, what's the name of the song that plays when the guy was explaining how clothes are advertised to solve our problems and they start showing a bunch of commercials The lyrics went: "I'm here for the next high, the next guy, I pray to God next life..." Searched for it and nothing came up.. aff como q pode essas pessoas trabalharem em condicoes subhumanas, n er pq essas pessoas precisao q precisao ser escravidas desta forma, pq os poderes pubiclos e judiciarios n resolvem isso, escravidao camuflada.. I think this won't stop even if we don't buy products from them cause these people won't have money to spend and no resources lead to them starving, they would agree to work in unhygienic conditions and as people in power are greedy it just follows, I think the respective government should have some restrictions on these industries and this can happen anywhere in this world and these kind of low cost industries can pop up, but I strongly believe that developing countries can come out of this tough phase it would take a few decades for us...A Indian.
I was quite intrigued watching this movie and was in complete support of your movement, right until I visited your website and saw how you are distributing the movie. How can you credibly criticize companies operating sweatshops, but then distribute the movie through Apple iTunes, thereby indirectly supporting companies operating those sweatshops (like Foxconn) and further fostering the very capitalist system, whose sustainability you are questioning in the documentary.

Everyone should have the opportunity in their lives to sew at least one clothing item for themselves just so that they can get an idea what is involved. Even considering the much greater efficiency of garment workers who sew things all day every day, the exercise will show you just how much work goes into the making of even relatively simple items. Due to the nature of cloth, clothing production does not lend itself well to automation, so everything you wear has some work in it that was done by a garment worker..

This film shows how rich people get richer and poor ones poorer. Yes, this is the world we live in. Personally I don't think that we as customers/consumers can do much about it. These are the problems that should be solved by those who have the power, sadly, those people don't care..
gotta say i'm as guilty as anyone for buying clothes made in vietnam/china etc. since i played sports as a kid and adored nike/adidas etc. but over the past year i've made an effort to only buy from local shops that make their clothes in California and what i've found is that i've actually gotten better value with my $50 American made shirts due to the fact that the materials hold up a lot longer than cheap $15 shirts made in china which I end up throwing out after about a year, just letting you guys know that a lot of the times its economically viable to buy stuff that isn't made by little kids in sweatshops. This problem will never been solved! This message is not new and is spread in dozens of songs, movies and documentaries. This docu will not change a thing! The problem is money, value and economics! As long as money and economics keep their value nothing will ever change! The real truth is that money and economics don't have any value at all! Any country who have economical problems they simply don't have any real problem because economics are nothing but a fantasy! People who they say are poor for not having enough money are not actuelly poor! People are poor because rich people came hundreds of years ago and made people dependent of an "economical system". People are able to build their own homes, to take care of their own food and make their own clothes. Economics and money they don't do anything for you! Money does not make a building or a computer, people do! Economics and money does not make you better when you are sick, people do! Money and economics does not make you wiser, education does. The problem in this world with compagnies is that the product is not the most important thing at all, the profits are! A commercial is not actually selling you a product but a commercial is actually saying: "give this compagny your money and you'll get a product that is not worth that much in return!" The cheaper the production of the product the higher the profit for the compagny! This means: 1. keep "poor people" dependent and let them work harder for less money (money wich has no real value at all). 2. Use cheap materials to create a cheap product that the compagny can sell for a high price by fance commercials with happy bunnies and happy clowns in it. Using cheap materials can mean that it can have heath risks for the people who use the products, this can be deadly when compagnies make cheap medicines for profits, it can also have a dangerous effect on the enviroment we all live in. We have to wonder if we still need this system using money and economics when we start to wake up and realise that it has no value at all. The money and economics fiction lets people destroy the world we live in for decades! We don't need money and economics! What we need is education and sharing information! What we need is to stop talking about profits and to start thinking about what is good for you, what is good for me and what is good for the environment we live in. When we are able to educate ourselves, to control ourselves and have a system that tells us to work 4 days a week for 6 hours a day we would be able to create a free and healthy society for people and the environment around the world!. +mindfield9 Actually it might change a thing or two, because spreading awareness of the issue in such a graphical way is going to influence people's choices - not overnight, but gradually it might make a difference with people taking interest in the origin of the clothes they buy and reconsidering their purchases..
Ask Julia Louis Dryfus, (check out new Old Navy Ads) why would she do these Ads and why would she look beyond the human cost...the woman and children cost I think when you appresciate an Actors work that they would have a higher moral standard, she was one of my fav's and has broken my heart, farewell...Julia or rather...good riddens, what a disappointment she is..

To be a Christian is to innately be against corporations, especially those that do not wholly and entirely practice fair trade and social and environmental stewardship! You can be a missionary for God in the smallest way, share God's love by respecting all that is around you! Be conscious of who you buy from and what you buy. It will make people ask you, "Why do you care" To which you can share the Good Word. Here is why Jesus wants us Christians to care: God wants us to be concerned for the wellbeing of others. Sometimes you can reach someone and give the Holy Spirit the opportunity to touch someone just by the small actions and choices of your own, including valuing the lives around the world, human, animal, and plant. Organic and fair trade is one of God's ways of providing aid to many that suffer at the hands at corporate mistreatment and poisoning. He sees His people hurting and He is using the lives of these socially aware and compassionate individuals to reach those in need! Be missionaries and spread the Word, but also be missionaries and bring relief to those in pain and poverty. We may not be able to bring sight to the blind like Jesus, but we can choose to stop American and European companies from using chemicals that cause blindness, or other birth defects, without any precautions in other countries. The corporations are the modern day rich man sent to hell for his selfishness and concern for profit. Those in pain and suffering at the hands of an oppressor will be blessed like Lazarus. It will take faith in Jesus, but like I said, this world wide distress is a calling God is giving us to bring relief and share the love and peace only He can provide on large scales! We don't get into heaven by good works, but none of us are CHRISTians without doing the good works God calls you to do!!.
A los peruanos que estamos viendo esto. Compremos ropa nacional. No alimentemos esta barbarie y matemos al mismo tiempo la industria nacional.. This was a great documentary. Not to overshadow what the message is, I'm gonna go ahead and say the soundtrack is badass. Also for inquiring minds, the song everyone keeps asking about is called "Next life" by souls. It's only on Amazon from what I can find, annnnd you have to purchase the entire album. With that said, the show takes stabs at H&M, Zara, and forever 21 type stores because of the "fast fashion" at cheap prices. It's pretty obvious that it's shaming american consumerism (If that's even a thing) for relying on outsourcing for all of our clothes and stuff. One woman says that the jobs they do could be worse (watch how they treat and process leather in India) and I agree with her. The moral of the story is that these groups want safer work environments for workers with fair wages, and I agree with that. There's also a little mention of Monsanto (of course there is) and how they are poisoning the planet. Another lesson learned here is buy American and organic if you can. I just cant stomach buying a white t-shirt made out of 100% organic cotton/fair trade/eco-friendly/biodegradable/blah/blah for $200. Which obviously causes the shame on consumerism in America cycle. Unfortunately I'm part of that cycle, and until the aforementioned t-shirt price drops I'm not sure what else to do. Maybe join a nudist colony. They'll find something wrong with that too. .
This phenomenon has nothing to do with consumerism or capitalism. Unless you want to take advantage of people's poverty to meet a political agenda. Take away consumerism and capitalism, go back to the times capitalism and consumerism didn't exist, there was still slavery, suffering occurred... the problem here is greed of the powerful, nothing more. ONLY way to fight this is to force greedy corporations to respect human rights. This is the result of corrupt governments not ensuring their worker's rights, allowing greedy capitalists get an advantage in the market at the costs of people's health..
Kings who impaled peasants had no regards for profits, just power... I can't imagine a person more dangerous that one who cares power above all, even above profit At least when companies make profit, they depend on the will of consumers. If consumers decide to stop supporting a business, they can end the business, or even demand that it runs with good ethics. Power for the sake of power, is a form of corruption that gives people NO leverage. . I'm glad to read somebody sees it the same way as I do, since I've been thinking about this a lot recently, about things that people are after and they feel greed for. I concluded that there's 2 things that seem to run the world today and they're money (greed for profit) and power (greed for control over others)..
It always astonishes me that the solutions presented in videos like this is to get governments to intervene. How about educating people and convincing them to STOP PARTICIPATING in the consumerism, which is the fuel to the problem Why is the solution always government and not individual accountability It's funny that they also make it a women's issue, by saying that it's women in third world country that fall victim to the exploitation, but when they juxtapose stampedes on Black Friday, and people posing in the products, it's also all women. No one seems to see that women, are by in large, the drivers of the oppression of less fortunate women around the world. I think it boils down to the fact that you can't tell women that they have the power to change the world, because that goes against public discourse; that they are perpetual victims who have no control, even over their own actions, and that the only way for them to exercise control is through the ballot. Ladies, you can stop all of this. Just stop buying bullshit! Stop trying to fill the emptiness inside with little trinkets of momentary happiness while you drive your families into debt, and find out what makes you beautiful from the inside out. Forgodsakes before it's too late! But of course that's not what they want you to think. They want you to continue to act like a child, take no responsibility for your part in the system, and blame the big bad capitalists..

Utterly heartbreaking, it's the 'earthlings' for the earthlings. Thank you so much for making this documentary. It can't be ignored and once watched I think many people are going to make some changes. I was shocked to my core in the same way I have been in the past watching slaughter house videos. How have we allowed a world to be created with such lack of care And when there are so many people not cared for verses the people not caring, how is it possible that such a small number of people have such a huge grip over how the world is run I guess true protest in the modern world is done through our wallets..
is it because the people that own those companies are greedy as fuck, and dont give a shit about the people at the bottom doing all the hard work!!!!! fuck the people at the TOP are fucked in the head. Watch the Documentary on Netflix. It will change your outlook. People in third world countries deserve equality. Their voice is lost, and more people need to be aware about their situation over their.. It's very saddening and I do feel for the people that work in those horrible conditions but I use the same shirts and jeans for years and I mean years..
Yep, this is the new plans even for Greece!! The need new shiet jobs here close to them in Europe! So yes, to new referendum in Greece and NO to new European shit and all the mas media burn in hell !!.

Very good documentary and the song by Natalie Taylor I want it all sums up the point of the documentary in my opinion .

Truthful & awesome doc. As always, while us in the better world enjoying our luxurious material stuffs, poor ppl in some third world countries are suffering greatly, same with the "Blood Diamond" movie. Keep in mind that in third world countries those corporates or any $$ Man could easily bribe their officials to ignore those toxic waste or any other problems..

This film has taught me that its hard to make clothing and shoes. No wonder my Jordans cost so much..
Brand names... marketing... Yes, you may find yourself "paying up"... BUT... consider a television set... a finite number of channels... versus... satellite television with hundreds if not thousands of channels... The nice thing about such places as The Gap is that they reduce "the noise"... by limiting choice... persons feel "less distracted"... Workers' Union(s), on an International Scale seems inevitable, as Karl Marx predicted... but if the new ruling class is as covetous as the old....
American Apparel employees are demanding the resignation CEO Paula Schneider and the Board of Directors, who have collaborated with New York hedge fund Standard General to send the largest US apparel factory and LA's largest private employer into BANKRUPTCY at the expense of employees, shareholders, vendors, and the city of Los Angeles. Standard General's investors include the New York State and City Pensions funds as well as university endowment investment funds who operate publicly under the guise of creating opportunities for women and minorities. Ironically, the employees that have suffered the most have been minority women. THE UNION CREATED BY AMERICAN APPAREL WORKERS HAS REPEATED REQUESTED THAT BOARD OF DIRECTORS STOP ADVERTISING THE COMPANY AS BEING SWEAT SHOP FREE AS THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE. Under the leadership of Paula Schneider and Standard General, American Apparel has been caught mistreating workers and violating even the the most basic of employment law. Workers are also only making 50% of the wages they once made while Dov Charney was CEO. As of Aug 1, 2015, the Board of Directors have not been held accountable by the SEC for stealing the company and violating shareholder rights by releasing a FALSE PROXY at the annual shareholder meeting in JUNE of 2014 in order to stage an illegal coup to oust the founder (Dov Charney) so that the board might secretly sell the company without informing shareholders, employees, or any other stakeholders. We are fighting an uphill battle against a corrupt Wall St. Corporation. Help us save American JOBS and BUSINESSES. 10,000 Jobs are on the line. The Board and Standard General continue to manipulate the media by spending extraordinary amounts of money, not on the business, but on the most powerful Public Relations Agencies in the world such as Weber Shandwick and Sitrick to silence the struggle of thousands of minorities and women. Please take a moment to hear our story. We are the workers that built this company. www.teamdov.com www.saveamericanapparel.tumblr.com www.saveamericanapparel.com.

The solution isn't as simple as stop buying bullshit. Of course there has to be government intervention. There has to be laws made to stop the shit working environment. If people just stop buying bullshit, then these people don't have jobs. I'd rather have a shitty job than no job. Consumerism drives the world. It doesn't have to be a bad thing. Halting consumerism causes depressions and unemployment. It stops the money from circulating. I want these people to get more money and I don't mind paying a little extra for my bullshit if I can do that. It can't be as easy as stop being materialistic. It has to be more than that..
Ok so the problem is Corporations being greedy but how do you go against them These people who own these corporations already can control governments so what is anyone suppose to do!.

    Comments about this video:

favourite perk was commando on modern warfare 2, but people cried about it so it got removed. plus it was the best fps ever made #XboxOne.

My favorite perk is engineer from Black Ops 2 because there was a game where a carepackage of my teammate had a Loadstar and I changed it to RC-XD. He got so mad that he started trash talking and then invited me to a private mach. I beat him 30 to 24. That day was one of the best days of me playing Black Ops #XboxOne.

The fans fucked up COD! Ghost have to be one of the worst COD game I have ever played. I mean they tried to turn the shit into Battefield but you die really easy. Look what they did with BO2 that was just a fanbase game. If they would have kept making it like Black Ops that game would have been great..
Ikr. Black Ops 1 was the worst COD created (not to say that any COD after MW2 didn't suck...cause they all did). I'm glad Sledgehammer is making COD again. Maybe we'll finally get a COD we're satisfied with. Favourite call of duty perks in ghosts, deadeye because it's the only perk I win 90% of my guns fights with. Across all call of duties, stopping power because the more damage the more better .
My favorite perk would have to be hardline, because we all need a little help sometimes to get that attack helicopter;) #xboxone.

My favorite perk is scavenger I mean if your good at killing people an never die your gona always need ammo to do it:) .

i like having time to playing a game then to be rushed an give it up after a year thats why i like battlefield its not just rushed unlike cod.
Call of Duty 4 last stand perk. Why It's because I like putting that last round to get the guy shooting me. # Xbox One. Gotta love dead eye, even though it doesn't work all the time, it can save your a$$ a few times :) #xboxone.
#XboxOne Sleight of Hand from any Call of Duty. Being able to reload faster definitely gives you a huge advantage..

My favorite perk was juggernaught from cod 4 because you can get shot from an enemy from behind and turn around to kill them before they kill you. # XboxOne.
My fav cod perk is scavenger as camping with unlimited claymore's is super annoying right #Xbox1. Stopping power- nothing's better than 40 percent extra damage, even better when you doubled it up with deep impact in cod4 #xboxone. My favourite perk would have too be "off the grid" because pared up with a silencer no enemy will see me coming ") #XboxOne.
My favorite perk in black ops 2 is the FMJ because it makes more damage than the gun it self #XboxOne.

Sleight of hand because it makes your gun reload fast and helps you in a tight situation if you run out of a clip before finishing the kill which with sleight of hand can help you have a better chance of survival #xboxone.
My favorite perk has to be scavenger!! I can use my ballistic knife without having to worry about my ammo >:D #XboxOne.
Sleight of Hand because I hate when I'm reloading slow and someone pops around the corner and shoot me in the middle of me reloading. #XBOXONE.

CoD favourite perk would have to be scavenger, so when I'm in a kill streak I don't have to worry about my ammo depleting #xboxone .
My favorite call of duty perk was modern warfare 2's cold blooded pro Not benign able to be seen by air support, or uav, no red cross hair when seen, and no gamertag about your character was the best #xboxone.
Slight of hand- because 90% of my deaths are while I'm in the middle of reloading my weapon. Just makes it so much better to be able to throw that clip away and put in a fresh full clip in as little time a possible and be ready to get the next kill. .
IGN - MY FAVOURITE PERK HAD TO OF BEEN COLD BLOOED PRO FROM MW2 BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING I LOVED MORE THAN STEALTHILY HIDING NEAR AN OBJECTIVE AND WAITING TO POUNCE ON UNAWARE ENEMIES! #XboxOne. I'm a COD fan and I say Ghost is poo, I bought Battlefield 4 and it's way different but not in a bad way. The only change I would like to see would be, being able to party up. It sucks having to join in and out of servers to try and play with your friends.. but I will say Battlefield wins this year. Hopefully the COD franchise will be better next year, but until then I will be on BF4!.
my favorite perk in call of duty has to be wietap in cod ghosts. the sheer ability to hack into someone else's satcom and turn it against them is just a magical experience.Plus you get a ton of points #xboxone .

Commando lol from Modern Warfare 2 It was so over powered. It allowed you to knife someone from like 5 feet away .

#Xboxone My favorite Call of Duty perk, and an unorthodox one at that, would have to be the Eavesdrop perk, first introduced to me in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I love this perk because it really brought in a heavy dose of comedic relief on the battlefield. Nothing would beat getting successive kills against the enemy team and hearing them get frustrated and flustered over my menacing tactics. Start doing good and you quickly become the hot topic of discussion. But hearing the postmortem rages of your enemy, officially granting you the golden ticket to really get inside their head, well now that is just something quite beautiful. #xboxone.

It's good that they're not becoming an annual franchise. All the games that do this end up ruining themselves and just milking the series..

I've always liked the marathon perk in all the Call of Duty games. I never liked the idea of having to stop running & keep having to catch my breath every 3 seconds. Marathon's my favorite perk. #XboxOne.

Thank god it's not gonna be a yearly release. The PC version is so fucked up it's almost unplayable. It crashes all of the time, can finish the campaign because it keeps crashing, the rubber banding is so bad on almost all servers. Like wtf man, I did pay $60 to get what seems like a shitty alpha build..
My favorite perk is hard line from black ops 2 because it makes scorestreaks easier to get then in ghosts. The pa4 costs 381 to make but companies that sell them have to make profit aswell so they don't profit 19 they lose over 100 on each console. #xbox one one man army cos i used to run around jus cooking grenades and kamikazeing in to enemies!!!!. Slight of Hand definitely haha it's so easy to get taken down when your behind cover going for that reload and just barely miss your opportunity to drop the guy that kills you when he rounds a corner Lol #XboxOne .
Mine is fast reload best perk ever because i cant reload my gun fast and kill more people faster i get like a nuke in mw3 a lot because of that perk :-) .

Favorite perk is definitely Hardline, it allows me to get to those delicious delicious Score Streaks faster!!!! #xboxone .

x3 Frag Gernade on Call of Duty 4 was by far the best! Not only were they really powerful but you can basically throw cross map! Ooo the joys of cross map nading #xboxone.
My fav perk was "ghost" on black oops 2. I'm a assassin. A master knifer. Give me the game please and I'll follow you on twitter lol.
My favorite perk in cod ghosts is probably ICU, I just like using it because ghosts is such a different came from it predecessor, BO2. U die so fast in this game that regenerating health faster is probably better for you to become a better player..
My favorite perk is fully loaded call of duty ghost because I always run out of ammo in the beginning of the match# xboxone.
Favorite perk form Call of Duty is Hardline Pro. Hearing the other players complain that it is so unfair to get attack dogs from a care package only four kills into the game; Priceless..

I think the best perk addition to cod would have to be Dead Silence, the classic perk from cod 4 and waw. I honestly can't stand to hear my footsteps, especially if I'm in a slow game. With Dead Silence I don't have to worry about being heard and I can soundwhore much better #XBOX ONE #Call Of Duty Ghost :o.
''My Favorite Perk'' It's goat to be. ♪ Bada-bing bada-boom.. bada-bing bada-boom.. bada-bing bada boom ♪ yes it's ''Bing'' the Elite Perk cause when i get my kill with my little Honey Badger, and i have Bing on as my Perk i can see if some-one is camping it nearby the kill i got and come one we all hate campers !. .
#XboxOne My favorite perk is Quickdraw. It's one of the perks I just can't live without. .

Thanks for your time and effort. It really helps to have a different kind of explanation than professors ;). Hi Dave thnx for the video. I have a question for you,can we use Actual Price when finding the standard hours or we only have to use Standard Price ( $12). I solved it with Actual Price($12.54) and the standard hours resulted to be 1974. Hi, I am a bit confused because you said price variance plus usage variance = 1855 so why did you add them together Is it because one can assume it would be -2800+945 to = 1855.

+funnzie If you own a motorcycle you don not live in poverty. But I totally like your attitude to biking.. +Boffet I owned the motorcycle back in 2000, it was sold in 2003. I do live in extreme poverty and have since the crash of 2008, I don't drive my car anymore and depend on feet and a bicycle for all my transportation. I have just become 100% green. :). I think it's funny that there are so many dislikes on this video. butthurt rich kids defending their status symbols. it's a bicycle, people. they've advanced in design, and we can put a few bells and whistles on em but the same principle applies. it's a very simple, man powered machine. now some people are serious riders and may be able to justify bikes in the 1000 range, but 2000, 5000, 11000 plus you're a sucker..
+Jay McNeely You sure it's about that... I am tempted to dislike it because it's soooooo slow. Soooo damn slow. I think it's the slow pace....
+Michael G try riding a quality bike. feel the exactness of the shifters and tight brake fel and you'll understand.. ... And another thing (that you're right about), in the 1980's you couldn't really buy expensive bikes over about £1000, you could buy very expensive components but no complete bikes. Why would anyone want to spend massive amounts on a complete bike, anyone who can make use of it would want it built up to their own specification : frame type/angles, wheels, gearing, tyre type and make, saddle, stem length, crank length etc. Etc.... +MiataBRG Exactly!!! I knew every component that worked for me, and would not race on a bike with experimental or never tested parts. It took so long to find components that functioned, once found, I wasn't going to take the massive amount of time and expense (and danger) to test out something new..
This guy appears practical and honest: I am a recreational weekend rider, toured Europe and saw the Tour de France, as many college kids do. I could afford one of the high-tech bikes, and was close to buying one today. I invest in tech, in fact, as an angel investor CEO for decades so I earn my living by evaluating best-in-class: after this video, admittedly anecdotal which does make it false, I am convinced this good man just saved me 10-14,000 bucks. Recreational cyclists have no business other than ego and conspicuous consumption (coined by an economist from my undergraduate school Carleton, thank you) in "race shavings" that are critical but only to racers. My only quibble is with his comment that it is "hard to say what high end bikes really cost" as in fact we can indeed know the real metrics (PRC et al) which are easily discerned within my profession's competence: pennies per hour in China, so he is correct. Thank you. .

+miamipacheco Just an example of strong frame and components, there are probably other bikes equipped the same with good frames. The only reason I used the Moto is because I own one, and know the truth of the bike. All other bike frames will need tested, but you can use the component list as a guide to good strong dependable parts..

No, cause I'm not a hipster. The Miyata is now restored an ridable. It's just a great bike. .

I believe its the Apple syndrome. You buy expensive stuff just to prove you can, even though it doesnt worth half the price. Its a brilliant marketing strategy made for people that dont like to think. And there are a lot of people that dont like to think :).

+Diogo Castello Theres only so far they can go with computers. The need a radical rethink to go a lot further. I spent a fortune updateing hardware on my PCs in the 90s.These days they do it by bringing out later versions of os that dont run properly on 12/24 months hardware. Its a bit of a joke.Talk of getting people fooled.

+Mark cbay I heard someone say they couldn't update their android phone because their version of android OS was too old..
Spend however much you want to spend on your hobby but like other people mentioned, there is a point of diminishing returns. I have a carbon bike that would trash my steel bike on a climb. Carbon bike is 3x the cost but it also makes me realise there are no more excuses and the only limits are my own..
Marginal gains, they get more marginal the more you spend. However people like nice stuff, and there's nothing wrong with that. I ride a 15 year old £250 ($375) third hand recumbent by the way..
The mass produced bikes can be offered much cheaper because they can buy large quantities of parts and also the expensive developement/tooling gets used to better efficiency. however I cannot see why those bikes are so expensive especially since you can buy the fastest motorbike for less LOL, I'm a mountainbiker and it's the same Idea if you aren't trying to compete these super expensive bikes are pointless unless you dont care about the price and want the prestige. I usually buy a cheap bike with a decent frame and some decent suspension/hardware then I upgrade whatever isn't good enough on it till it's good. I like to tinker though so it suits my style..
Its marketing hype and most people lap it up like chicken soup. When "carbon Fiber" hit the market it was vogue to own it.Carbon Fiber this and Carbon Fiber that. Its been sensationalized to the point that if you want the "best" material.. its the only thing to use if you want the lightest, strongest product available to mortal man. This carbon bike craze is akin to people(Audiophile's) spending $100,000.00 for an analog turntable. You simply reach the point of diminishing return well before you reach the price you just paid for the item. And guess what... upper management and the CEO are laughing all the way to the bank.Even if you have the ways and means to purchase such an overpriced item,be pound wise and penny foolish in such endeavor.Like the man said, these are put together with slave labor. Its a greed drivin hobby like so many other hobbies. To pull a quote from the movie Platoon,""Everybody know the poor are always being fucked over by the rich.Always have, always will..
I have a $500 hybrid which is very comfy but pretty heavy at 15kg or close to. I hired a carbon 'endurance' type road bike worth $1600 for a weekend to see what the difference would be (the carbon road bike weighed about 8kg). Over my 11km training ride, the carbon bike was only 1 minute quicker which surprised the heck out of me - I thought I would be much quicker. Much less comfy too. I think I would go quicker still on the road bike once I really got used to it but it certainly made me think that most important bit is the engine, not the bike.. +Arturo Sánchez Not everyone has time for distance riding. Fact is 11km is about perfect for daily health maintenance because a human only needs 15-20 minutes of cardio per day for good health.. +Arturo Sánchez Good for you, man. "Grinding out the bearings" is something I seem to do on nearly every modern bike. ( If you check the size of thebearing races you will notice the old bearings are actually bigger, more meatier and are designed to last longer. I compared a modern bike to a modern hybrid in the store recently and these is at least an inch bigger bearing in it which translates to better reliability. At least. ) I actually prefer the old steel bikes, lugged frames, and steel cranks because I can grind this new aluminum stuff into aluminum dust in no time no matter how much lubrication is in them how regularly. I prefer an old cruiser these days and a lot of mtn bikes riders can not go the distances I can at the speeds I can. My quads are getting schwarnegger like ripples within the lower and upper quadraceps.. +Tim LeDoux It's called capitalism Tim. These bikes are only worth as much as the amount people will spend on them and however much the company makes in order to make a profit. There's no denying the branding side of this, it exist in just about everything in America, from your burger to your Walmart bike. If anything, the companies selling the $11k bikes are more truthful than the one's selling the $100 bikes at Walmart. They don't sell those bikes to break even...or to make sure they last. Those bikes are throwaways. Even Nutty Funzzie would agree that those bikes are garbage. My point is, it's only worth it if you care. To knock someone who can afford a more expensive bike as being stupid...well. sound more like you're jealous...or uneducated (you chose)..
The dislikes on this video prove to me that the bike industry has a large portion of the biking community completely brainwashed. No bike is truly worth the ridiculous cost these "high end" bikes cost nowadays. $11.5K for a bike...please. I paid $17, 500 for my daughter's brand spanking new Honda Civic. I have been an avid road cyclist for nearly 20 years. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to buy a bike from Wal-Mart anytime soon, but I'm not paying several thousand either. My current bike cost me $1,500 ( my limit). At a certain point, it's not about the bike, it's more about the rider. Case in point: I often ride friends into the ground on their Dura Ace equipped S5s and Dogmas. However, I have also been blown away by a guy riding a 30 year-old Trek. Don't believe the hype people. These bikes are not worth the cost. You are only making the manufactures and others rich. If you stop buying them at these insane prices, watch how fast the prices will start to drop: supply and demand..
Ive been a bianchi rider for years now but the Bianchi Specialissima for 2016 the frame cost $5000.00 just only the frame then the top top components like Campagnolo and Shimano $12,000 $14,000 whats going and carbon does not last to long.. thank god I have my bianchi Pinella 2005 steel born frame. I think he makes some decent points. Especially the one about buying a stock bike and then replacing parts because they aren't the correct size. Chainset is a good example. Also, I have some Strava PR's on my 10.2kg winter bike, that I could not better this summer, on my 7kg bike. I also did the Fred Whitton this year on my winter bike, no problem.. I've been riding for 20 years. I started out on cheap steel bikes, then aluminium, then aluminium/carbon, then carbon, then high end carbon, now I'm back on mid-range steel. Never was a pro races, just an enthusiast who likes the outdoors. Don't need the carbon, after 20 years I finally figured out I'm a steel kind of guy.. +shingnosis Steel is real. The rider matters more than the bike ever will unless in serious races. I pass enough carbon wannabe racers every day on my bikes which range from my trusty '75 Continental to a 2015 Pugsley with road slicks. I can ride the bike without worrying about beating up the frame and having it split in two.. Back in 2004 I bought a 50 dollar bike. It was new, low quality and cheap. During the years, with an additional sum of around 50 dollars I changed everything I needed to make it work almost perfectly. It's in use since then. Used it for 25 mile rides and daily commuting to work (2 miles every weekday). I rode it in dry weather, rain, snow and mud. It received less care than most bikes and still works acceptably.. That why you buy used. And those nice bike are well worth the 2000.00 range. If you can be fortunate enough to find one that's worth it. I picked up a sweet 2013 Cervelo S5 with Campy Super Record 11 comp. for 2400.00. I'm super happy with the bike.. +funnzie +funnzie I just looked it up. It's a 72. I learn about that from one your videos. I was wondering why my bike was more sensitive to my input. I'm used to it now. It's a specialized AWOL btw. The mountion bike I was riding, I couldn't ride it with no hands. I kept asking different people, even a bike shop if the handlebar and tire was straight. I went flipping early on when I got it, never felt right after that. (Dog ran into me head on when I had strong tailwind.) tires I have are 42mm, because my eye site I want to make sure I keep control if I hit something on the ground. In my commute I range from 15-20mph. (Wind, and which traffic light gets you I find has two biggest impact on speed that I have seen.) I have a pannier. I feel silly now but I didn't think of the draft. Unless I have crosswinds, I forget it's there. That could be adding to it.I would like lose weight (belly) and also use a road bike. (Not anytime soon.) Do you know how well I need to get on my current bike. +cook7772 IF you bike changed handling after you hit the dog, there is something wrong. The fork is steel and could be bent. But start simpler looking for problems, make sure the axels are seated completely in the dropouts. Make sure the wheels are centered in the frame (wheel dish). And, just because a bike may have a 68 degree head tube, doesn't mean you can take your hands off the handlebars easily, the bike may be out of alignment. My Giant Sedona comfort bike is a solid handling machine, even at high speed downhills, but I can't take my hands off the handlebars without shifting my body center dramatically to keep the bike going straight. Alignment is my problem, with no solution because of the aluminum frame.. I raced up against one of those ten thousand dollar bikes on my motobecane and I beat the ten thousand dollar bike with my 1500 dollar motobecane. I also know a guy who bought a ten thousand dollar bike and he hardly ever rides it because he is stuck working full time to pay off his ten thousand dollar bike.. I just picked up a 6x2 speed Shogun on ebay for $10. 6 speed, 27 inch steel wheels, cro-mo frame. Gave it a lube and adjustment. Guess what It goes down the road just fine. Also riding a Surly cross check that I picked up for 1K and is actually fun to ride, and can go a lot of places with the cyclocross tires i put on. The bike I'm not real excited to ride right now is my 6K Cannondale Synapse with DA. This guy is exactly right - the industry (specialized, giant, trek) are all pushing this race thing on us, and unfriendly drivetrains. I see more overweight guys on their 5K plus bikes, hunched over on skinny little seats and looking entirely uncomfortable. Riding should be fun and relaxing. Cheap bikes seem to deliver that like pricey ones don't. Well, that's my conclusion after 40 years of riding anyway. Glad to know i'm not the only one.. +funnzie I liked the content of the video, but it could have been more concise and crisp. I agree with you, there is nothing funnier than seeing fat blokes on $3000 + bikes in club rides, huffing and puffing at the back/ showing off their wallet strength while moving at 10mph or less while the more serious riders leave them in the dust with sub $1500 bikes. I guess, cycling is successfully replacing golf..
Oh, I do agree, there should be standards to insure the riders safety. That's why I'm not in favor of lowering the UCI limit, they would be so racer specific and frail for the average heaver rider, and people don't read the fine print and having a failure at 40 plus on a down hill could be very bad for the rider and anyone around. And yes, I see big time money bikes on group and other rides only to say buy, buy on my Look 555 I got on sale for under $1900.00. The only thing I can say about those with big bike budgets is that it helps drive the price of a good, solid practical bike in the affordable range, where is at first a carbon bike, any carbon bike was always very costly. I think eventually the bubble will burst..
+Sabyasachi Chakraborty hahahaha the "fat blokes" comment make me cry. That is true though. One thing I still haven't seen are super fat avid marathon runners. I wonder why.. I do agree being a very avid recreational fitness rider myself. I have 3 bikes. Two of my bikes one is a motobecane sprint the other is condor and my third bike is a orbea all road bikes. I will never pay those high prices for those bikes its very unnecessary and a total waste of alot of money. I am a fast fit cyclist. I do century rides maintaining fast speeds..
Grat video, all true. I bought used cboardman alu bike and new campagnolo veloce groupset + new wheels - all cost like 850 usd. 2 years later my total miles on this bike are 4500 and bike is bulletproof. Love my bike and I ride as much as i can lol..
I pretty much agree. I have no desire to keep up with the Jones. Unless your making money from biking and fractions of a second are on the line, I have no idea why people spend so much money on recreational bicycles. Heck most cyclists with expensive modern bikes will even say they like the ride and enjoy biking on vintage steel. I decided early on that there wasn't much benefit to a modern bike and currently ride on one of three 1988 chromo steel Schwinns. Mostly I ride on a LeTour which I got for $80 all original in fine shape and put new tires and brake pads on it. For a lighter & faster bike I have my top of the line Prologue (next under their Paramount, though some argue it may actually be better) that is a beauty to look at and performs as well. $300 and needed nothing, but I still put a nicer set of tires on it. This old bike from the 80's still only adds up to about 21 lbs all original. I may put lighter wheels and a more modern groupset on it from ebay, to gain brifters though I kind of like the down tubes shifters and will leave those on the LeTour. And I do actually plan on racing the Prologue (duathlon), but I likely won't ever be in contention of winning so the small gains from an expensive race bike would never be realized by me. I'm a much stronger runner than biker though I thoroughly enjoy biking on my inexpensive 80's steel. :).
The usual all too predictable narcissism and must have the best and best looking, look at what I have! Practicality and common sense don't come into it, more so now than ever!.
I liked your comments on frame alignment. When I read or view people who tell amateurs how to bend their stays from 126mm to 130mm spacing to fit modern gears, I can only imagine how many good frames become junk in the process. On the other hand, I refuse to wear clipless pedals; toeclips and straps forever!. I will also add that I used to view riding an experience of fun.The element of fun should be in riding and more people will ride.. 2:30 Pretty much sums up how stupidly expensive bicycles have become only to be marginally better than the less expensive bicycles. Where is the money all going Into the big man's pockets of course! Stop feeding into the components game. For example Dura Ace and Ultegra basically the same to a recreational cyclist in terms of their performance, and yet there's a $2000 difference between Dura Ace 9070 Di2 and Ultegra 6870 Di2. Forget if the 9070 has SRM! There has to be a limit people. The only reason they cost so much is because the bicycle industry knows that we will pay for anything that seems brilliant on paper. That's why they have the journalists go on about how incredible Dura Ace and SRM are, and how the electronic shifting makes such a big difference, etc. Bullshit. It's a bicycle. I don't need a gadget to do my shifting for me. What happens if it fails Surely that's no roadside job! Be prepared to call up a trained technician (and pay him/her in the preocess). I own a 1987 Ross Adventurer. Steel frame. Shimano SIS groupset. SAKAE stem. Aluminium wheels with stainless steel spokes. On paper, it seems inferior to bikes like the Trek Emonda and Cannondale SuperSix, but in reality, this bike is brilliant. Never has the chain dropped out of place. Shifts are responsive. And the steel won't crack like these carbon frames will. I was hit by a car (low-speed incident). The only things that got heavily damaged were the wheels. After a swap out, I was up and running again. There are stories of people just accidentally dropping tools on their carbon frames and witnessing them basically disintegrate before their eyes. Enough said..
+Daniel Bryan "There are stories of people just accidentally dropping tools on their carbon frames and witnessing them basically disintegrate before their eyes." LOL!!.
Cool Video - Thanks for saving a bunch of dollars. Not that I entertain the thought of 8K bikes but will now sell my sons 2.5K Carbon with the Ultegra running gear rather than buying it myself and trundle along on my old CroMo Mongoose for a bit longer. I think these videos are valuable. Even if people are passionate about bicycling they should disabused of the notion that they need to have the absolute top of the line and that it is all about the money they spend. It is about the marketing. Obviously there are reasons to spend a little more on equipment, but sometimes it gets ridiculous. Thanks!.
I'd pay extra money for the beauty of a classic, hand-made in Italy, Colnago steel racing frame with chrome precisa front forks. The psychological boost that comes from riding a bike that looks like it was made by God will make you go faster than any weight savings offered by carbon fibre..

Honestly, if you want to take the time out, go to Hong Fu or Deng Fu and buy a frame and build a bike yourself. Carbon frame costs 450, plus another 600 for 105/ultega/SRAM group set, 200 for tires and another 200 for rims..
+Brandon Ringer I don't think so failure of the renowned manufacturer's frame is interesting, so most of them are extensively discussed on the forums failure of chinese copy is so awkward and so obvious that it is not discussed at all :P. +Erik Rakovský sorry sir but you're unfortunately wrong. initially there where many issues with them, but now they are over 5+ years making them and their QC has gotten remarkably better, so much so they have let buyers who had business trips In China take pictures and post them to show their practices..
Would not want to get hit by a car in the city with a $10,000 bike... I am in no way an experienced cyclist. About 2 years ago I purchased a 1992 Trek Antelope 800 (from what I could tell, its a MTB) for $80. Not because I knew anything about trek or what type of high end bikes they make. I purchased it simply because it was the cheapest and lightest option there was at the time, and I needed a bike now to commute to work. Over time, I started to switch out things here and there, making it much lighter, and more reasonable for the road. That bike is falling apart now as I put over 7,500 miles on it, and god only knows the wear and tear it had in the previous 21 years. Today, I know a bit more about the whole sport, but still far from what I would like to know in the future. When I see these $5,000+ bikes, sure they look awesome, but even if it got me going an additional 10 MPH, I would be too afraid to ride it! I am now in the market for buying a new bike, for commuting, exercise and the pure enjoyment of it. I was very discouraged and worried that buying a cheaper bike would be a huge issue. I am glad I found this video, and also several others. They made me feel better about buying a cheapo road bike. I plan to do exactly what was stated in this video, I will change out parts that fit me as I can afford them. Thanks for the upload..

It ain't the plane it's the pilot. I always rode Specialized til my divorce. Now I ride a Wal-Mart Genesis road bike. I kept pace with 1 Cevelo and outrode another for 11 miles.I'm 57 they where 25-30.It ain't the plane(bike).

and you're a total dumbass! And who you callin Fanboy huh If I may be corrected, people who bash other systems because their fetish system got PWNd, doesn't that make THEm fanboys HMM. I never said my typing was perfect and i realize that it isnt. Its just that when someone calls a PS3 a POS then that would normally mean they are retarded. And by the way your job of 20$ an hour is pathetic.. Wii is getting pretty cool and fun-playing games, I am looking forward No More Heroes, and I want to test Umbrella Chronicles too. Well that's my opinion if I call the PS3 piece of shit. It shouldn't affect you in any way whatsoever since everyone has a right to their own opinion. If you don't agree with that, you're the one with the problem. And if you say your typing isn't any perfect, then why did you bash my typing in the first place, as well as the other guy's.
ps3 killed of sega because new techonology always replaces old technology. how the fuck are you gonna want to slow down video game development. omg. there 2 versions of the ps3. the $499 one and the $599 one. dude no one knows that or wat the fuck!.
Fine! FUCKING SONY AND THEIR OVER PRICED PIECE OF SHIT!!!! And yes I have a good paying job, making about $20 per hour. I'm not about to pay half a grand just for a console. Fucking Sony fanboys all up on my three letter abbreviation spelling! What the fuck man!.
PS3 SUCKS. the only good thing sony is good at is copying nintendo and microsoft. mhmmm. WII WILL ROCK YOU. microsoft will also do good. =) YEP!.

rather pay a lil bit extra for a quiet machine that wont over heat at launch and no im not a fanboy ima plannin on getting ps3 and a wii and 360 wen it wont die on me again.
LMFAO AT THIS currently still!! Current events,PS3 is still in stores, not selling s as many fanboys thought it would, lmfao even harder!!!! And now,a moment for "A Vegeta moment" Nappa:Vegeta!,Whats the total price for the PS3 full experience.Lets see,the TV,system(cheap car price),controllers, all the games, future add ons, rtrtrt Vegeta:"ITS OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!". BTW, at least I'm getting paid enough to support my college tuition and bills at the moment. By the time I graduate, I'm getting a better paying job. I don't see anything "pathetic" about it.. Yo,he outta make a sequal to this shit man,LOL.5 fucking days, and Iam still laughing at that shit. Now my pals cant stop laughing when they think about his face, lmfao!!.I swear, there hasnt been many things that cuz me to laugh days afterwards. This is one of the best, handsdown.Yo Pharrari, lmfao man.Make a sequal to this shit man, have the Co. try to make the J allard look-a-like to buy a PS3,lololololol.Good shit again man.
LOL! You saying his typing sucks, look at your spelling! Sony fanboys make me laugh!!! What the fuck is "attempy" and "regonisable" If you're going to bash someone else's typing like me, then please don't contradict yourself with your own typing..

ur a fuckin dumbass ps3 comes out novmeber 17 2006 halo isnt even done until 2007 and there is already rumors of the game bein cancelled.

ps3 sucks because there are barely any games out same could be said for wii although both are starting to break out of that phase. the 360 had the same problems and now all they need to fix is rrod also on the wii comment look up no more heroes.
HAHAHHAHHAHHAAHAHA a Year and this shyt still cracks me up cuz its true, the 80 GB PS3 will retail for 599 US...NOOOOOOOOO!!!! XD.
NICE!! The day I pay 599+ tax=652.54 for a system, plus 64 dollars for a game..sending me into the 720 dollar range..Is the day I shoot myself in the head. Instead im loading up on a Wii and a bunch of new games for my 360. Ill catch PS3 WHENEVER they decide to release metal Gear 4..till then..have fun ripping OTHER ppl off sony...

PS3 SUCKS. the only good thing sony is good at is copying nintendo and microsoft. mhmmm. WII WILL ROCK YOU. microsoft will also do good. =).

If you are going to attempy to type, then please do it in some vaguely regonisable form of the english dominiward, you asshole..
what the fucking hell is a POS.Dude if you have problems spelling simple three letter abbreviations then you should get some help and also the PS3 is not overpriced, it only is to poor people with dead-end jobs that go nowhere, which is probably the position your in. and btw the PS3 is actually so cheap that sony is LOSING money making it..
PC ports to what is essentially a PC itself xD an theres plenty of people who have 360's that dont break down, an for the ones that do, microsoft is taking responsibility for PLUS extending warrantys... so at least they're making up for mistakes, EVEN losing profit from each console sold..
LOLOLOLOLOLLMFAO yo,that shit is killing me yo.LOLOLOL,seeShit like this makes me giggle in my sleep, lolol. That nigga like, noooooo!!!OMFG man, thanks for the laughs tho,I hardly laugh anymore due to my friends anit around to throw down controll after I whip that ass.LOLOLOL.
READ MY FIRST COMMENT CAREFULLY. DID I EVER SAY THE 360 blows. no! Allright if the PS3 will blow then tell me why. can u NO u cant! Because every time i ask someone on yoytube to prove the 360 is better than the PS3 they cant! explain that u fucking fanboi!.

lolololololol -1 from me ENJOY THAT b*tch!!!!! You clearçy don't mention 1/5 of the xbox360 exclusive and mention HOME which is not even a game. PHAIL.
599 dollars cost the playstation3 with 60gb of space in hard drive, and the 20gb playstation3 cost 500 dollars. in euros 450 euros 20gb 499 60gb rofl lmao!. I hated the original killzone i must admit but i think this has something about it... And anyway my main interest is with littlebigplanet and resistance 2, which has so many good featyres it's ridiculous.. 60 player online, 2 story modes one for single player one for coop, 2 player offline coop 8 player online coop gigantic enemies... It is shaping up to be a real winner.
step 1: get a job, step two...could care less what the fuck you do just make sure step 3 is buy all three systems and both handhelds and STFU.
of course he's wrong now, but he wasn't when the video was taken, which was before the price dropped. so what's every1 making the fuss about and who gives a shit if its 499 its still a pretty fucking steep price.. I'm personally holding off on getting a PS3 at launch because Sony is notorious for launching shoddy quality hardware. Launch PS2's were plagued with problems, as were launch PS1's. I say wait 6 months and get a second build..
jesus christ!! You stupid ass motherfucking pathetic little faggy pro360 wankers are just annoying me now! I can understand u love the 360 but for once in your lives, hold your tongue!!! Nobodys gives 2 shits about wankers that spend all day mocking a console that isnt even out yet! Just go out somewhere and die u fucking fanboys!.
lmao that is funny... PS3... Ken Kutaragi grill cost about $600 more then it should. lol piece of crap thing.. sounds like someone is a little pissed off, over nothing special at all. Whats the matter, you have to take offense to the truth lol. Killzone 2 Seriously I've seen a majority of the gameplay footage, and I have to say...Besides the graphics, it has nothing. Have you heard that voice acting! Jesus. I hope it's just a place holder. I DO want LBP though..
